But then I never, even on a first time, go for only a half hour. Always at least an hour. I usually only do one session with a gal at the local hotel, then if I want to see her again it is at my hotel - a REAL hotel - away from the Zona. And that first session is really just a way to see if we get along, and if she is what I am looking for. Now days about 90% of the time she is, or she would never have gotten thru my in the bar interview.
And prostitution, per se, is not "illegal" in TJ. Public solicitation is, and pimping is, but what two consenting adults agree to in the privacy is just fine.

The major difference, I think, is that in TJ this takes more time, effort, and yes, money.
