I have only been to TJ once and have been to CR five times. Here are my observations. The Zona in TJ is a real culture shock the first time you go there. With all of street girls standing by the doorways you know at first sight this is a mongers candy store. Then when you go in the clubs the gringos are there for just one thing.....SEX. I was really turned off with the the mechanical assembly line routine to get laid. Make your deal with the chica....go to the next door hotel and pay your ten bucks there.....go to the room if you are lucky enough not to wait for a room to open up. Once you get in the room you race against the dreaded knock, hoping you will get your full thirty minutes to get your rocks off.....then as you leave being hasseled by the condom cleanup boys....TEEP,TEEP,TEEP. I also was real concerned about the sanitation in those rooms. When do you think was the last time those sheets and bedspreads were changed. With so many sessions going on in those rooms nonstop, there must be 20-30 different people having sex on that same bedspread everynight. One thing I did do was give the hotel clerk five extra bucks for extra towels so we could spread them out over the bed. There is no time for you or the chicas to take a shower before your sessions and if you use all your time the girls has no time to take a shower after. If you do get a chance to take a shower there is usually no hot water and you can forget about any water pressure. Some other monger will be her next session without her taking a shower or your next girl will have been with another monger without taking a shower. There also seems according to many postings, that many of the TJ chicas have a drug problem. Just another risk that can cause a variety of problems. In Costa Rica it seems to be more relaxed at the bars you go to for sex. The bars like the Blue Marlin and Key Largo actually have some tourists who go there for something other than sex. I have seen a lot of American couples having a drink or having a meal hanging out watching sports on the TVs. Also the casino extends out from the Blue Marlin and is usually packed with gambling addicts who could care less about sex. I have seen groups of American college girls at the Key Largo dancing their asses off to the live band and it is great fun watching them observe the mongering going on all around them. What I like best, is once you make a deal with a girl, have more control of the saftey and sanitation. At the Presidente Hotel the girl is require to check in, but there is no charge for her. You can do 10 girls a day and never an extra charge. By checking in you are better protected if the girl should try to rip off your personal items in your room. Also, they most always will take a shower before your session and always take a shower after. The best part is there no knock on the door. It is so nice to actually relax with a chica when you are done having sex. Many will stay much longer than your agreed upon hour, watching TV with you, especially if you order up room service. It is also comforting to know that you are the only monger that has been having sex on those sheets. Prostitution is legal in Costa Rica..... so you never have to be nervous about walking around anywhere with a chica. Costa Rica has very strict laws concerning drugs and I think the great majority of the girls do not do them. I have heard that a handful of the girls do indulge, mostly the girls from Columbia. If I lived in Southern California.... I am sure I would go to TJ often. But for someone that has to travel any distance and was choosing to either go to TJ or CR.....I would definitly recommend CR. Even for only three or four days.... I think even though the airfare would cost more..... you would get more quality and quanity sex for your money and enjoy the other sites in CR much more than TJ.
